Supplied areas in South Tyrol

At present ca. 92 % of the country is provided with eleven DAB-transmitters on block 12A and 12D. The transmitters can be found on Penegal, St. Konstantin, Plose, Kronplatz, Freienfeld, Vinschgau (only 12A), Mut, Lajen, Grödnerjoch, Obervinschgau, Mals (only 12C) and St. Leonhard in Passeier. The Brenner motorway A22 is provided in her whole length between Salurn and Brenner.
For the two longest motorway tunnels in Bozen Nord (Virgl) and Franzenfeste have been installed own transmitters for the provision in the tunnel. The reception of the two digital broadcasting programs works also in the tunnels of Welsberg, Bruneck, Gadertal, Kardaun, Eggental, Virgl, St. Jakob, Mebo, Naturns, Staben, Schnals, Sarntal – Halbweg, Waidbruck 1 + 2, Mittewald, Mühlbach und Töll. Further tunnels are planed.

Further the block 9D was put into operation with local private channels on Penegal. Because of that the reception of further broadcasting programs in the area of Bozen, Überetsch and Unterland became possible.

The supplying of the country is checked all the time and a measuring protocols will be made. For the future further filler and additional transmitters are planed.
